Purpose Vehicle, promoted by Elango Industries
Limited which is a Bombay Stock Exchange Listed
Company.
Running a
Natural Gas based Captive Power Plant of 7 MW
capacity at Maruthur Village, Mayiladuthurai
Taluk, Nagapattinam District in Tamil Nadu,
India.
The plant comprises of one number of Rolls-Royce
make Gas Engine of 7 Mw capacity uses Natural
Gas as fuel. Gas is being supplied by Gas
Authority of India Limited from its Kuttalam Gas
Field located in the Cauvery basin at a distance
of 6 km from the Project site. Being a Captive
Power Plant, the entire power generated is
distributed to the participating Captive
Consumers.
